Dîner en Blanc - Philadelphia

In August of 2021 Rouleur Creative provided photographic services to the Philadelphia edition of Dîner en Blanc in Rittenhouse Square. The event - a picnic dinner where all attendees dress in white from head to toe, takes place in cities around the world. The guests are unaware of the location of the event until they arrive on site. Meeting up at spots around the city before being led to the venue - carrying their own tables, food and utensils to create a pop up event.

Photographically Dîner en Blanc is an appealing event. With all attendees, staff and even media team dressed en blanc it creates a uniform feel to the images. A highlight of the night is a point after the attendees have finished eating and en masse the group light sparklers and wave them in the air as the DJ starts the music. From there it changes to a party with live bands, dancers and performers in the fountains.
